What is Applied Net?
Applied Net is the flagship annual conference for insurance professionals who use Applied Systems’ software. Designed for insurance owners, principals and their teams, Applied Net’s format includes technology innovation and education, industry best practices and professional networking.
What is the Applied Client Network?
The Applied Client Network is the only authorized user group for Applied Systems software. The network provides users education, industry advocacy, peer-to-peer networking and direct product influence with Applied Systems to help you achieve better business results. When joining the Applied Client Network during registration, you immediately receive the member price for the conference. The membership nearly pays for itself!
What can I expect to gain from Applied Net?
Expect to learn valuable insights from peers and industry experts, receive hands-on training and acquire first-hand best practices strategies at Applied Net. You’ll become immersed in information and experience networking opportunities that will increase the value of your technology investment, making your business more valuable and productive.
What education sessions are offered?
More than 240 education sessions are organized in industry theme and product-specific learning tracks for all levels of Applied Systems users and all roles in the organization.
When will the list of sessions be made available?
The complete list of conference session titles and tracks will be available in May 2020. Applied Client Network and Applied Systems are determined to provide you with best-in-class technology education at this annual conference. With more than 240 sessions now being scheduled, you can rest assured there will be education for all levels of experience and job responsibilities at your business.
Who are the session presenters?
Subject-matter experts who are agents, brokers, Applied Client Network master presenters, Applied Systems professional staff and other industry experts all present during the conference.
Are continuing education credits available?
Continuing Education (CE) sessions are available to ensure you meet the requirements of your state, while also providing additional education to build success at your business. Sessions will be held on Monday, September 21, as part of the Pre-Conference program. An additional fee of $49 and pre-registration is required.
Can you tell me more about the Executive Management Program?
The Executive Management Program provides new perspectives on industry trends and market developments and is designed to equip business executives with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the present into the future. Sessions will be held on Monday, September 21, as part of the Pre-Conference program. The additional program costs $199 with full conference registration and $399 stand alone.
What can I expect in the Applied Net exhibit area?
Exhibitors are insurers, industry organizations and providers of products and services important to the business of insurance. Get information, hands-on experience and up-close interaction with your insurers and other exhibitors, including Applied Client Network and Applied Systems.
What are the dates for Applied Net 2020?
Monday, September 21 – Thursday, September 24, 2020.
How do I register for Applied Net?
You can register online from February 10 – September 18, 2020 or register onsite at the venue from September 20 – 23, 2020.
Is there a discount for registering early?
Yes. Early-Bird discount applies through May 22, 2020. Visit the registration page to view complete registration details.
Is there a group registration discount?
Yes. Applied Net is offering a discount on full conference registration after the third registrant from the same organization (the discount applies with the fourth person and all subsequent registrations). Please contact the Applied Client Network at 800.383.2952 for group registrations.
What is the deadline for registration?
Early-Bird registration is February 10 – May 22, 2020. Pre-Registration is May 23 – July 31, 2020. Regular registration is August 1 – September 18, 2020. After September 18, registration will be accepted onsite only at the Applied Net venue September 20 – 23, 2020.
What is included in my registration fee?
Full conference registration includes exclusive access to all educational sessions, exhibits, networking events, published meals and evening events. Additional fees apply for the Executive Management Program, Emerging Leaders Program and Continuing Education (CE) classes.
I can’t make every day of the conference. Can I register for an individual day?
Yes. One day registration includes educational sessions, exhibits, published meals and evening events on the selected day. Attendees can choose from Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. One day registration costs $799.
Can I bring my spouse or another guest?
Yes. There are two registration options for spouses/guests. Spouse/Guest full registration is $649 and includes exhibits, published meals and evening events but does not include educational sessions. Spouse/Guest evening event only is $179 (per person per event) and allows conference registrants to purchase a ticket to the Tuesday and/or Wednesday evening event. This does not include any other meal functions or exhibits. Attendees going to evening events must be 21 years of age or older.
What should I do when I arrive?
Visit the Applied Net registration and help desk during open hours to check in and pick up your conference materials. The registration desk will be open at the following times:
What forms of payment are accepted for registration?
We accept MasterCard®, Visa® or American Express®. All balances MUST be paid in full prior to the event or you will not receive your credentials onsite.
What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations can be made online. A 10% fee will be charged for each canceled registration received on or before May 23, 2020. Cancellations received between May 23, 2020 and September 20, 2020 will receive a refund of 50%. No refunds will be given after September 20, 2020. Substitutions, however, may be made at any time. No-shows, without prior written notice, are responsible for payment in full. Applied Client Network and Applied Systems are not responsible for non-refundable airfares or change fees incurred as a result of canceled airline flights or changes imposed by the airlines due to inclement weather or scheduling changes. Hotel reservations should be canceled directly with the host resort.
Which property will host the educational sessions and exhibits during Applied Net?
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is the primary location for educational sessions, exhibits and housing.
What attire is appropriate for Applied Net?
Business casual attire is appropriate for all Applied Net events.
Are there any activities outside of the conference hotel? If so, is transportation provided?
While entertainment activities for Applied Net 2020 are still being finalized, you can rest assured that for any scheduled conference activities away from the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, transportation will be provided.
